Fuller Health

Hull, HU5

Need to see a doctor today?

We're a private GP practice on Princes Avenue. Ring us in the morning and you can usually be seen the same day - no registration, no referral, and no waiting list.

Open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Are you a walk-in centre?

No - and it's worth being straight about the difference, because it decides whether we're the right call.

An NHS walk-in centre

Free, no appointment needed, and you wait your turn. Right for urgent problems when you don't mind how long it takes.

Us

Paid, by appointment - but usually today, at a time you choose, with a 15-30 minute consultation instead of a queue.

If it's an emergency, don't call us. Ring 999, or 111 if you're not sure. We're a GP practice, not an emergency department.

Common questions

Can I really be seen today?
Usually, yes. Ring in the morning and we can normally offer you a slot the same day. We are open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
Do I need to register or be referred?
No. You do not need a referral, you do not need to register, and you do not need to leave your NHS GP. You can see us once and never again if that is all you need.
What does a private GP appointment cost?
The price is shown before you book and there is no consultation fee added on top. Ring us on 01482 766555 and reception will tell you the exact cost for what you need.
How long is the appointment?
Longer than you are used to. A standard appointment gives you enough time to explain the whole problem rather than one thing in ten minutes.
Where are you and is there parking?
We are at 159 Princes Avenue, Hull, HU5 3DL, with parking on the avenue. We are a few minutes from Hull city centre and easy to reach from Cottingham, Beverley and Hessle.
Can you give me a sick note?
Yes. A private GP can issue a certificate for work, and we can do it at the same appointment.
What if it is an emergency?
Ring 999, or 111 if you are unsure. We are a GP practice and not an emergency department.

Ring us and we'll find you a slot.

Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. If we can't help, we'll tell you who can.
