Common questions

Minor Surgery, answered

What does minor surgery cost?
The price is agreed before anything goes ahead, and it covers the procedure itself. Ring us on 01482 766555 and reception will quote you for what you need.
How quickly can I be seen?
Usually within days. For many procedures you can be assessed and treated in the same visit rather than coming back a second time.
Do I need a referral?
No. You can book directly, and you do not need to leave your NHS GP.
Is it done under local anaesthetic?
Minor procedures are carried out under local anaesthetic in our treatment room at 159 Princes Avenue. The doctor will talk you through exactly what is involved before you agree to anything.
Will it be sent for testing?
Where clinically appropriate, tissue removed is sent for laboratory analysis. The doctor will explain whether that applies in your case and what it adds to the cost.
Where are you and is there parking?
We are at 159 Princes Avenue, Hull, HU5 3DL, with parking on the avenue - a few minutes from the city centre and easy to reach from Cottingham, Beverley and Hessle.
