A standard consultation is from £95, agreed before you book with nothing added afterwards. If the GP recommends tests or treatment you get those prices first and decide for yourself, and Clearpay is available in clinic if you want to spread the cost.

No to both. You can book directly, you do not need to register, and you stay registered with your NHS GP. You can see us once and never again if that is all you need.

I have a lump or a mole I am worried about. Can you look at it?

Yes. If a mole is changing, bleeding or itching we examine it first and, if there is any doubt, refer you urgently to the NHS skin cancer clinic rather than remove it here. Where removal is appropriate, it can be done in the same building.

What if it is an emergency?

For chest pain, severe breathlessness or a suspected stroke call 999; if you are unsure whether it is urgent call 111. We are a GP practice, not an emergency department.

What a consultation covers

Thirty minutes with a GMC-registered GP - enough time to go through the whole problem, your history and what you have already tried, rather than one issue in ten minutes. Bring a list if there is more than one thing; that is what the time is for.

The GP can examine you, arrange blood tests or scans in the same building, issue private prescriptions, write referral letters to private consultants and provide sick notes - most of it in the same visit.
