What it costs

Sexual Health prices

The price you see is the price you pay. There is no consultation fee on top and no bill afterwards you weren't expecting. Where a price isn't listed it depends on what's involved, so we'll quote you before anything goes ahead.

Common questions

Sexual Health, answered

Is it confidential?
Yes. You are a private patient, so nothing goes on your NHS record unless you ask us to share it. We will not contact your GP without your say-so.
How quickly can I be tested?
Usually within days of ringing, and often the same week. There is no referral to arrange and no waiting list.
What does it cost?
It depends which tests you need. Chlamydia and gonorrhoea together are £62, HIV from £19 and syphilis from £28. Reception will price it before you commit to anything.
How long after exposure should I test?
It varies by infection - some show up within days, others take weeks to become detectable. Ring us and we will tell you when testing will actually give you a reliable answer rather than testing too early.
What happens if a test is positive?
A clinician explains the result and what it means. Where treatment is appropriate we can arrange it, and we will talk through telling partners if that applies.
Should I use the NHS instead?
If you can get an NHS sexual health appointment in a timeframe that works for you, it is free and it is a good service. People come to us when they want to be seen sooner, or want it kept entirely separate from their NHS record.
