If medication is the right next step we offer titration and ongoing reviews here. Once you are stable on a dose we can request shared care with your NHS GP.

Adult ADHD often hides behind years of coping strategies, which is why the assessment is a structured 90-minute clinical interview against DSM-5 criteria - not a quick questionnaire. Validated screening tools are completed in advance through your portal, so the appointment time is spent on your actual history: work, education, relationships and what daily life costs you.

After a diagnosis

You receive a written report, a diagnosis where one is appropriate, and a treatment plan. If medication is the right next step we offer titration and ongoing reviews here, and we can request shared care with your NHS GP once you are stable. Shared care is your GP practice's decision, and some practices in this area currently decline it for private diagnoses. Ask yours before you book. If they say no, you continue with us privately - ask reception for the review and prescription costs before you start.

ADHD medicines are controlled drugs, so private prescriptions run 28 days at a time and you pay the pharmacy's price for the medicine.

Shared care is your NHS GP practice's decision and some practices in this area currently decline it for private diagnoses; ask yours before you book.
