What we scan
Abdominal, pelvic, thyroid, musculoskeletal and vascular ultrasound, booked directly without a GP referral. Tell us the area to be scanned when you book; some scans need simple preparation such as fasting, and we tell you exactly what to do beforehand.
The scan itself is non-invasive - gel and a hand-held probe - and typically takes 20 to 30 minutes.
A report you can act on
Every scan is reported by a consultant radiologist, with the written report usually sent to you within 24 hours.
If the report shows something that needs acting on, our GPs are in the same building - you can go through the findings, get a referral letter or arrange follow-up without starting again somewhere else.
